Since 1993, the founders of Hawa Bamboo & Wood have made it their mission to help reduce the dependence on dwindling timber resources by manufacturing competitively priced, sustainably harvested bamboo flooring. Produced from a natural grass that is ready for harvest in as few as three years, bamboo flooring is one of the most ecologically sound wood flooring options available today. Hawa’s distribution center is located in Sayreville, NJ.
Wood Flooring Products
Hawa Bamboo & Wood offers carbonized or natural coloring options, a prefinished or unfinished surface, and a choice of either horizontal or vertical graining. They use an 8-layer aluminum oxide/polyurethane coat on their finished bamboo flooring, which comes in the following styles:
- Solid
- Engineered
- Distressed
- Stained
- Unfinished
- Strand-woven Tongue & Groove
- Strand-woven Click-lock
They also offer a selection of matching bamboo moldings for their flooring products.
In addition, Hawa has expanded into the traditional hardwood flooring market with their South American and Asian Exotics lines, which include the following species:
